Types
of Membership Offered:
The NWBCC offers three types of membership. Please select
the one the best fits your needs. All applicants for membership must be in
good standing with the AKC and agree to abide by the constitution and the
by-laws of the club and the AKC. You do not have to own a Bearded Collie to be
a member. Your application must be endorsed by two members in good standing.
Submit your completed application along with the dues payment to the
Treasurer. Your application will be read at the first meeting after you
apply. At the next the next meeting your application will be reread and voted
on by the members present. Your name and address will be entered on our roster
and you will begin to receive club mailings. If you have additional questions,
please contact a board member or request a copy of the constitution and
by-laws.
_____ Individual
($15 per year June through May.) Includes the right to vote on club business
and is included to calculate the quorum. You will receive all mailings.
_____ Household
($25 per year June through May.) Allows each of two adults living at
the same address the right to vote on club business and is included to
calculate the quorum. You will receive all mailings. If more than two persons
living at the same address wish to have voting rights, an additional $10 per
person per club year must be submitted.
_____ Associate
($10 per year June through May) Does not include the right to vote on
club business and is not included in the quorum
If you live outside of the greater Puget Sound area and do
not plan to attend meetings, please consider an Associate membership.
Also, if you live outside the United States, please add $5 to your membership
fee to help defray the cost of postage.
Rescue
Families:
NWBCC offers one year of membership at no charge as a “thank you” to families
who provide homes to Beardies in need.

The NWBCC is an active club that sponsors Bearded Collie
related events nearly every month. Many members participate in conformation,
obedience, herding, agility, therapy and other dog activities. We invite you
to become an active member of your new club. Please tell us about yourself
and what activities you currently enjoy with your dog or which activities you
would like to learn more about. There are many ways to participate even if you
don’t participate in any competition events. We invite you to attend an event
soon. We look forward to meeting you and your dog!
